About Weather On This Day
Looks up one city and one past date
Choose an enabled city and a date that is not in the future. The tool queries the daily weather endpoint with the same start and end date, then shows the recorded high, low, average temperature, precipitation, wind, and WMO weather condition for that day.
Availability depends on synced records
Data comes from Open-Meteo through the backend weather proxy. Very old dates, newly added cities, or days not yet synced can return no data; dates near today may still be labeled Forecast until the actual record arrives. The city and date are kept in the URL for sharing, but no lookup history is stored.

How far back can I look up?
You can pick any date up to today. How far back data is available depends on what has been collected for each city; if a date returns nothing, try a more recent one.
Why is there no data for some days?
That day simply hasn't been recorded for the chosen city yet. Very old dates or recently added cities may have gaps. Picking a nearby date usually works.
What do "Actual" and "Forecast" mean?
Past days are normally tagged Actual (recorded weather). A date near today may still be tagged Forecast if the actual record hasn't synced yet; forecasts can change.
Is my search uploaded or stored?
No. The city and date stay in your browser and the URL; nothing about your lookup is stored. Sharing the link only passes along the city and date you picked.
