About the football scoreboard
Goals by match phase
Goals are tracked for home and away teams, and each regulation or extra time phase can carry its own score line. The current phase selector helps you keep first half, second half, and extra time scoring separate while still showing the match total.
Formats and penalty shoot-outs
Choose a regular two half match, knockout match with extra time and penalties, penalty shoot-out only, or a custom phase count. Penalty scores are tracked separately from open play goals so tournament tiebreakers do not overwrite the regulation score.
Local display, not official officiating
Team names, format, phase scores, and penalties are stored in browser local storage for this device, and the scoreboard can be shown fullscreen during a match. The page helps manual score display for amateur matches, but it does not run the match clock, validate fouls, or create an official referee record.
