About the queue number board
One device is the whole system
Set the start number and how many digits to show, then press Next each time you are ready for the following party; the number jumps and a two-tone chime plays. Back undoes a call, Recall repeats the chime without changing the number, and Issue records the last ticket you handed out so the board can show how many parties are still waiting.
Audience view, full screen and shortcuts
The audience view hides the settings and buttons and keeps only the big number, the last issued number and the waiting count, which is what you want on a projector or a second screen. Full screen enlarges the same board and keeps the screen awake where the browser allows it. Keyboard shortcuts keep working in both views, so the operator can keep calling while the board is on display.

The current number, the last issued number and your settings are kept in this browser's localStorage, so a refresh does not lose your place and nothing is uploaded. The board does not sync to other phones: to let the queue see the number, point a second screen at the audience view. Reset always asks for confirmation before returning to the start number.

How do I set up the board at a stall or counter?
Open the page on one tablet or laptop at the counter, set the start number and digits, and press Next whenever you are ready for the following party. If you have a projector or a second screen, mirror the browser and switch to the audience view so the queue only sees the big number and the waiting count.
Can people in the queue see the number on their own phones?
Not in this version. The board keeps its numbers in this browser only and does not sync to other devices, which is also why it needs no account and no server. To show the queue the current number, point a second screen or a projector at the audience view, or read the number out loud with Recall.
Will the screen turn off while the board is in full screen?
In full screen the board asks the browser to keep the screen awake. Browsers that support the Screen Wake Lock API honour it; others, or devices in battery saver mode, may still dim the screen after a while, so raise the device's sleep timeout if you leave it unattended. Calling numbers works the same either way.
Do I lose the current number if the page refreshes?
No. The current number, the last issued number, the start number, the digits and the sound setting are saved automatically in this browser's localStorage, so a refresh or an accidental tab close restores the board. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Only the audience view resets to the normal controls after a refresh, so the device is never locked into a screen without buttons.
Why is there no chime the first time, and how do I turn it off?
Browsers only allow sound after you have interacted with the page, so the chime starts working after your first tap on Next or on the sound button. Use the speaker button in the board header to turn the two-tone chime on or off; the setting is remembered on this device. Recall plays the chime again without changing the number.
Can I start from 101 or pad numbers like 001, and what is the limit?
Yes. The start number can be anything from 0 to 9999, so counters that hand out 101, 201 and so on work fine, and the digits setting pads shorter numbers to 2 or 3 digits for display. Numbers stop at 9999; press Reset numbers to return both the current and the last issued number to the start number, which always asks for confirmation first.
